Key Test Data Summary for June 2021

The monthly comparisons of Total Lots, Bales and Weight for June 2021 compared with the same period last season are:
+40.5%, +44.3% and +43.7% respectively.

Note that testing volumes for the same period last year, June 2020, were barely affected by COVID restrictions across Australia when Total Lots, Bale and Weight for June 2020 were:
+0.6%, +3.7 and +4.4% respectively when compared with June 2019.

 The progressive comparison of Total Lots, Bales and Weight for July 2020 to June 2021 compared with the same period last season are:
+4.9%, +7.4% and +7.6% respectively. 

 AWTA Ltd has tested 318.4 mkg (million kilograms) this season compared with 295.8 mkg for the equivalent period last season.

AWTA Ltd Testing Fees unchanged for 2021-2022

The Board and Management of AWTA have announced that there will be no increase in general raw wool fees for the 2021/22 wool selling season, commencing 1 July 2021.

There has been no increase in general raw wool testing fees for the past three seasons. The last time AWTA testing fees increase was season 2018/19.

The total cost for testing a typical 7 bale lot, including a Staple Length & Strength test, remains unchanged at $75.80 ex GST.
